Video Scripts – Engage Learning Systems (Retail Foundations for Learning)
One of my biggest strengths is an ability to write and edit documents well under tight deadlines. That strength certainly came in handy in 2014 when I was asked to produce a series of educational video scripts about various aspects of retailing for Engage Learning Systems.
This was an ambitious project: every week for several months, I had to produce 12 video scripts including narration, text-based chyrons and imagery to complete one unit of the proposed 25-unit Retail Foundations for Learning course. Each Monday morning, I would research a given topic (such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Merchandising, Career Development and Resume Writing, Bagging and Packaging, etc…) and then get started on completing the assigned 12 scripts before EOD Friday.
My contact at Engage was very pleased with the scripts that I sent her, and we remain in contact to the present day.
Here are a couple of scripts that focus on Corporate Social Responsibility and Orientation and Training for the Team.
